How to Boil Water for Tatong Herb

Datong Cao, which can also be referred to as Tong Cao, is the dried stem pith of Tongtuomu, a plant in the family of Wujiaceae, and can be taken directly in boiled water by using about 3 to 5 g at a time.
Tongcao has a sweet, light flavor and is slightly cold in nature. Its effects are to clear heat and diuretic, and to promote circulation of Qi and lowering of breast milk. This product is light, into the hand taiyin lung meridian, lead to heat down and facilitate urination, both gonorrhea and swelling; and into the stomach meridian, through the stomach qi up and down milk, mostly used for post-partum breast milk is not smooth or not, but also often used with wang bu liu xing, muitong, and so on.
The method of taking Tongcao in boiled water is as follows: one time use about 3~5g, directly put into cold water to boil and then take.
