If there is a large piece of membranous earwax in the ear, consider external ear canal cerumen. The methods of removing it include ear canal flushing method, cerumen hook removal method and suction method.
1. Ear canal flushing method: first drop sodium bicarbonate solution to soften the membranous cerumen, after softening, use saline to flush out the ear canal cerumen.
2. Cerumen hook removal method: gently insert the cerumen hook deep into the ear canal, gently rotate the cerumen hook to catch the flaky cerumen and slowly hook it outward.
3. Suction method: especially suitable for people with narrower external auditory canal. Note: This method should be operated under the clear vision of the otoscope, and the suction force of the suction device should not be too large to avoid damaging the eardrum.
If the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to ask a professional doctor to remove it, so as not to injure the eardrum or other tissues causing unnecessary damage. Avoid digging your own ears.
