Hiccups after urinating in the toilet may be caused by cold, diaphragmatic spasm, stomach spasm and other reasons.
1. Cold: If you go to the toilet at night, it causes the body to be cold, which may cause the smooth muscle spasm of the digestive tract, thus causing the phenomenon of hiccups.
2. Diaphragmatic spasm: under external stimuli such as mental tension and high concentration, it causes transient contraction of the diaphragm, thus causing the manifestation of hiccups.
3. Stomach spasm: when going to the toilet, such as inhaling cold air, resulting in gastrointestinal cold, which leads to spasm and contraction of the smooth muscle of the stomach, the pressure inside the stomach rises gas upward, thus causing hiccups.
The above situation can be relieved by resting, applying hot compresses or drinking warm water. If the above symptoms are not relieved, or accompanied by other symptoms, you should go to the hospital, to identify the cause and give targeted treatment.
