What’s wrong with drinking and diarrhea?

Diarrhea after drinking alcohol may be alcohol allergy, acute gastroenteritis, gastrointestinal bleeding, irritable bowel syndrome and so on.
1. Alcohol allergy: If you are allergic to alcohol, it may cause increased secretion of the intestinal mucosa and diarrhea, along with skin rashes and itching.
2. Acute gastroenteritis: may ingest food or wine contaminated by bacteria, which may also cause intestinal infection and diarrhea.
3. Gastrointestinal bleeding: If the discharged feces is black, it may be caused by alcohol-induced peptic ulcer bleeding, and need to go to the hospital in time for treatment.
4. Irritable bowel syndrome: Alcohol can have an irritating effect on the intestinal wall, inducing irritable bowel syndrome, which is also one of the causes of diarrhea.
There are other reasons for diarrhea after drinking, such as chronic liver disease, etc., you need to go to the hospital to find out the cause and then treatment.
