Is it true that liver failure magically cures itself?

The claim that liver failure magically cures itself is unscientific and not true. At present, there is no cure for liver failure, mainly through the cause of treatment to try to delay the aggravation of the disease, such as viral hepatitis, drug liver injury, hepatomegaly.
1. Viral hepatitis: For example, patients with hepatitis B virus-positive liver failure should receive immediate antiviral treatment with nucleoside analogs, including entecavir and tenofovir.
2. Drug liver injury: acute liver failure due to drug hepatotoxicity, all suspected drugs should be discontinued, e.g. rifampicin.
3. Hepatomegaly: plasma replacement, albumin dialysis, hemofiltration and other methods of supportive treatment are needed in time, which can improve the condition and slow down the progress of the disease.
It is recommended that patients with liver failure consult a doctor in time to find out the cause and standardize the treatment under the doctor’s guidance.
