The hazards of Wuzhimao and Tu Fu Ling are unclear. The Pharmacopoeia does not specify the adverse effects of Wuzhimao and Tu Fu Ling, and there is no relevant literature or research pointing out the hazards of these two drugs. People with liver and kidney yin deficiency should be cautious of taking Tu Fu Ling. The contraindications of Wuzhimao have not been clarified. Poria cocos has the efficacy of removing dampness, detoxifying and facilitating the joints. It is used in the treatment of undercarriage, dampness-heat drenching, scabies (skin surface disease), carbuncle (a symptom of localized swelling caused by congestion of qi and blood trapped by evil and poison), scrofula (equivalent to cervical lymph node tuberculosis), musculoskeletal pain, and limb constriction caused by mercury poisoning and syphilis. Five Fingers Hairy Peach has the efficacy of resolving dampness and expelling phlegm, strengthening the spleen and benefiting the qi, and activating the collaterals and relaxing the tendons. It is used for spleen and stomach qi deficiency, low food and abdominal distension, limb fatigue and weakness, lung deficiency and phlegm asthma, hypoglossia, edema, rheumatism paralysis, lumbar and leg pain. Patients who are not feeling well are advised to consult a doctor in time, and should use these two medicines under the guidance of a doctor to identify the symptoms.
