Is the HIV test still accurate after 30 minutes?

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) test strips are inaccurate beyond 30 minutes.
Generally the recommended time to observe the result of HIV test strips is within 30 minutes after the test, the most accurate time is 15-20 minutes, if it is more than 30 minutes, the result will be inaccurate.
If a red line appears on the T-line, it is a positive result; if there is no red line, it is a negative result. HIV test strips may give false-positive results, and a positive or suspected positive test from the test strips is not a basis for diagnosis, and you must go to the hospital or CDC for an antibody test.
If you suspect HIV infection, you need to go to the hospital and get tested under a doctor’s supervision. Once diagnosed with AIDS, systematic and standardized anti-AIDS treatment must be initiated as soon as possible.
