10 Early Signs of Epilepsy in Children

In the early stages of childhood epilepsy, some patients can have no obvious signs and some can have signs, but not necessarily 10 signs. If there are signs of seizures, they can be categorized as generalized signs, sensory signs, and visual signs.
1. Generalized signs: within one or two days before the seizure, the patient may show mental instability, excitement, dizziness, headache, general malaise, etc. Meanwhile, other illnesses are also triggers for seizures, such as infectious fever, diarrhea and so on.
2. Sensory signs: numbness, ants or electric shock, abdominal discomfort, pain or nausea.
3. Visual signs: blurred vision, flashes of light or colorful hallucinations, the feeling of fireballs flying in front of the eyes.
There may be other signs in the early stage of epilepsy in children, and it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to improve the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, and then give targeted treatment or therapy.
