How to treat sunken eye fractures

The treatment of depressed eye fracture includes follow-up observation and surgical treatment.
1. Follow-up observation: local hormone such as prednisolone acetate eye drops can be used after injury to reduce edema and adhesion. When the edema disappears, if the eyeball invagination and eye movement disorder are mild, it can be observed temporarily. If there is a sudden loss of vision, double vision and other symptoms, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible.
2. Surgery: When there is obvious limitation of eye movement, diplopia range becomes bigger; eyeball invagination is obvious, which affects the appearance; pulling test is positive; and more orbital content herniation is found in CT, surgery should be carried out.
For patients with depressed eye fracture, they should seek medical treatment as early as possible and be treated aggressively.
