Manifestations of qi and blood stasis

Qi and blood stasis generally refers to Qi stagnation and blood stasis (stagnation of blood due to lack of flow of Qi). Qi stagnation and blood stasis is manifested by fullness and pain in the chest and hypochondrium (a collective term for the chest and ribcage area), as well as impatience and irritability. Qi stagnation and blood stasis are a series of symptoms caused by prolonged stagnation of Qi, which leads to stagnation of blood flow. The proper functioning of blood depends on the promotion of Qi. When Qi does not move well and is unable to move the blood, then the blood stops and stasis occurs. Its etiology is related to factors such as falling and flashing, external evil attack, and emotional and emotional disorders. People with qi stagnation and blood stasis will experience localized fullness, stuffiness, and pain in the liver meridian area, which may be mild or severe, and may be alleviated with belching (hiccups). Patients may also have lumps (masses) under the coils, and the pain is fixed in position and can be aggravated at night. Some patients may also experience irritability. Women may have dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, and dark purple menstrual blood with blood clots. Once a patient develops symptoms suspected of Qi stagnation and blood stasis, attention should be paid and it is recommended to go to a regular hospital and undergo relevant examinations so as to clarify the cause of the disease and treatment.
