Guanyuan is three inches below the umbilicus, which can cultivate the kidney, replenish qi and return yang, warm the kidney and disperse cold. Guanyuan point should be needled after urination to avoid injuring the bladder. Kidney Yu in the second lumbar vertebra under the spinous process, 1.5 inches in front of the center line, moxibustion can benefit the kidneys to help yang, dispersal of cold and dampness.
