When there is no antipyretic medicine for fever, physical cooling can be carried out. It is recommended to take warm water bath, ice packs, and drink more water in moderation under the guidance of the doctor.
1. Warm water bath: people can use 31 ~ 34 ℃ warm water to wipe the armpits, limbs, popliteal fossa, groin and other major arteries and veins flow through.
2. Ice packs: ice packs can be placed in the armpits, groin, popliteal fossa and other places to dissipate heat. Ice packs should be avoided behind the ears, abdomen, soles of the feet and other parts of the body.
3. Drink more water: Increase the amount of drinking water appropriately, which can increase sweat excretion and promote cooling.
When the patient has fever, he/she can supplement food rich in calories and protein (such as fish, etc.) to replenish his/her strength.
If the fever lasts for a long time, people are advised to go to the hospital immediately for examination and treatment.
