Best time to use Betalax

The best time to take betalactam, or metoprolol, is related to the dosage form and the type of disease being treated. Metoprolol belongs to a kind of beta-blocker, which can be used to treat supraventricular tachycardia, premature beats, high blood pressure and other diseases. There are two commonly used clinical dosage forms of this drug: one is metoprolol tartrate, which is a flat tablet formulation, and the other is metoprolol succinate extended-release tablets. Flat tablet formulations such as metoprolol tartrate are a short-acting medication that needs to be taken twice a day, optimally once in the morning and once in the evening after a meal. If you take metoprolol succinate extended-release tablets, they only need to be given once a day, with the best time to take them orally being before or after breakfast. Of course, the dosage is different for different types of diseases, and the optimal time to take the medication will be changed accordingly, so it is recommended to follow the doctor’s instructions. If the patient suddenly develops tachycardia, it is also possible to temporarily take one or half a tablet orally to reduce the heart rate, at which time there is no optimal time to take the drug.
