Can B vitamins treat acne?

Acne is generally referred to as acne.B vitamins have no therapeutic effect on acne, so they are not generally used to treat acne.
B vitamins is a general term for a group of water-soluble vitamins, including vitamin B1, vitamin B6 (folic acid), vitamin B12, etc., which we are familiar with, have the effect of regulating the metabolism of substances and maintaining the normal function of the nervous system, but have no significant correlation with the occurrence of acne and its treatment.
Acne is caused by abnormal hormone levels, higher sebum secretion, over-keratinization of follicle openings, bacterial infections and other factors. It follows that there is no significant correlation with B vitamin deficiency, so B vitamins are generally not used to treat acne. If treatment is needed, it can be done by topical medications such as adapalene, retinoic acid, and benzoyl peroxide.
The above medications should be used under the supervision of a physician. If acne needs to be treated, it is recommended to consult a regular hospital and not to use medication on one’s own.
