Yuzu is the dried rhizome of Yuzu, family Liliaceae, which can treat lung and stomach yin injury, dry and hot cough, dry throat and thirst, and internal heat and thirst (internal heat accompanied by symptoms such as overeating, drinking and urinating) and other conditions. It is not to be taken by those who have phlegm-dampness and stagnation of qi in the stomach. Sasanqua is the dried root of Sasanqua, which can be used to treat lung-heat and dry cough, cough due to yin deficiency, dry cough with sticky phlegm, gastric yin deficiency (deficiency of yin in the stomach), hypophagia and vomiting, qi and yin insufficiency, and irritability (irritability and sullenness), and dry mouth, but it is not suitable to be used together with quatrefoil.
