What fruits can children eat in winter with a cough

In winter, children with coughs can consume a variety of fruits in moderation to supplement vitamin C, provided they are not allergic.
There are many causes of children’s cough, including acute upper respiratory tract infection, acute infectious laryngitis, cough variant asthma and gastroesophageal reflux. While spicy and irritating foods are not recommended for children with coughs, fruits can be consumed in moderation.
Some common fruits such as oranges, pineapples, kiwis, mangoes, kiwi fruits and cantaloupe can provide children with rich vitamins and minerals, and have some nutritional value.
Fruits can only provide some nutrients and have minimal therapeutic effect on the disease. If a child develops a cough, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible for a clear diagnosis and standardized treatment under the guidance of a doctor to ensure a good prognosis.
