Bifidobacteria before or after meals

Bifidobacteria is generally recommended to be taken about 15-30 minutes after a meal. Be careful to use lukewarm water for delivery, as high temperatures may lead to inactivation of the flora. Bifidobacterium bifidum is usually used to treat symptoms such as diarrhea, constipation, and functional dyspepsia caused by intestinal flora imbalance. Since Bifidobacterium can promote the secretion of gastric acid, taking it after meals can help digestion in the stomach and intestines. Moreover, Bifidobacterium bifidum can regulate the distribution of intestinal colonies, which can promote the absorption of nutrients. Bifidobacterium bifidum usually adopts live bacteria preparation, and it is necessary to pay attention to control the water temperature when taking it. Too high water temperature may kill the bifidobacteria and fail to achieve the therapeutic effect. When storing the medicine, it is recommended to store Bifidobacteria in the freezer of the refrigerator at a temperature of about 2~8℃ for storage. In addition, it is important to avoid taking other antibiotics at the same time while taking Bifidobacterium. If it is necessary to take them at the same time, it is recommended to leave at least 2~3 hours between the two medications. The dosage should not be too high and should be taken in strict accordance with the doctor’s instructions.
