Fried Atractylodes macrocephala, fried white lentils and Chinese yam taken together have certain effects of benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen, and are suitable for people with weak spleen and stomach, lack of desire for food, and loose stools.
The effects of Stir-fried Atractylodes Macrocephalae are to benefit qi and strengthen the spleen, dry dampness and promote diuresis, consolidate the surface and stop sweating (stopping sweating by consolidating the muscular surface), and tranquilize the fetus. It can be used for treating qi deficiency of the spleen and stomach, loose stools with scanty food (loose and unformed feces), dysuria (unruly urination), oedema, spontaneous sweating with a deficient surface (due to the weakness of the muscular surface and frequent sweating naturally), and restlessness of the fetus. Be cautious of using Fried White Lentil if it is dry, hot and injurious to fluid and if there is heat in Yin deficiency.
The efficacy of Fried White Lentil is to strengthen the spleen, dissolve dampness, harmonize the middle and eliminate summer heat, and can be used to treat spleen deficiency and dampness stagnation, loose food, summer dampness and diarrhea, chest tightness and abdominal distension. The adverse effects and contraindications of Stir-fried White Lentils are not clear.
Chinese yam, also known as yam, is used to nourish the spleen and stomach, produce fluid to quench thirst, tonify the kidney and astringent essence. It can be used to treat spleen deficiency with no appetite for food, lung deficiency with asthma and cough, spermatorrhea, frequent urination, deficiency heat and thirst, and prolonged diarrhea. The adverse reactions and contraindications of Huaishan are not clear.
