What is a normal temperature for a two year old baby

The average healthy two-year-old’s oral sublingual temperature is 36.3 to 37.2°C, rectal temperature is 36.5 to 37.7°C, and axillary temperature is 36.0°C to 37.0°C. If it exceeds the normal range, it suggests fever.
A baby’s body temperature may be about 0.5℃ to 1℃ higher than that of an adult, but it is recommended that parents need to measure the baby’s body temperature when the baby is quiet for it will be more accurate because the baby’s body temperature may be high when he/she is exercising, crying, overdressed, or the environment is too warm; and the body’s overall body temperature will be low in hungry and cold temperatures.
If the baby’s axillary temperature exceeds 37.3 degrees Celsius, it means fever, and you need to give priority to physical cooling for your baby to deal with it. When the fever exceeds 38.5 degrees Celsius, you can cooperate with your doctor to use ibuprofen and acetaminophen to reduce the fever.
