What does beeswax do?

Beeswax is melted and applied to the affected area for the treatment of canker sores, polycarbonates and burns. With alum and other pills to be taken internally to prevent carbuncles (a kind of poisonous sores, acute suppurative diseases occurring on the surface of the body, limbs, internal organs) from attacking the poisonous gas internally. Dissolved in decoction and taken for the treatment of dysentery (increased frequency of stools, mucus and pus and blood in the feces), abdominal pain and blood in the fetus, spermatorrhea, and hypogastric dysentery.
