What to eat during physiological period to replenish qi and blood

During the physiological period, you can consume a moderate amount of foods such as codonopsis, longan and jujube to replenish qi and blood under the guidance of a doctor. These foods have the same origin as medicine and food, and all of them have the effect of tonifying qi and nourishing blood, but the effect is limited.
Longan’s effect is to tonify the heart and spleen, replenish qi and nourish blood. It can be used to regulate symptoms such as poor sleep, panic attacks, palpitations, pale complexion, poor appetite, and loose stools due to spleen deficiency. It should not be taken by people with dampness (too much dampness causing fullness and discomfort in the spleen and stomach), and the adverse effects have not been clarified.
Jujube is used to benefit Qi and nourish blood, calm the spirit and tonify the middle. It is effective in regulating symptoms such as thinness, pallor, poor sleep and mental fatigue. It should be taken with caution or contraindicated in cases of dampness, phlegm condensation, food stagnation, worms accumulation and tooth disease.
Dangshen is used to tonify the spleen and the lungs, and to benefit the qi and blood. It is often used to regulate symptoms such as shortness of breath, pallor, cough, asthma and mental fatigue. It cannot be used with quinoa.
It is recommended that those who need to replenish qi and blood during physiological period should follow the doctor’s instruction and do not take the medicine by themselves, so as to avoid delaying the condition or producing adverse reactions.
