What is the condition of fungal glans

Fungal glans is an inflammation of the glans due to fungal infections such as Candida albicans, which often manifests itself as diffuse flushing of the glans and so on. Fungal glans is mainly due to the infection of the glans by Candida albicans, Candida glabrata and other fungi, and often occurs in men with a long foreskin or a prepuce, and can be transmitted through sexual contact. Fungal glans often manifests as a diffuse flushing of the glans or inner foreskin, accompanied by creamy-white patches of adherence. Also, there may be multiple small red papules the size of a pin cap, accompanied by desquamation. Those who spread to the scrotum may also produce localized skin erythema and desquamation, often with self-conscious itching. Patients with fungal glans are advised to seek medical attention if they feel unwell and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
