What eczema looks like in children

There are three main types of eczema in children, namely acute eczema, subacute eczema and chronic eczema, with different rash manifestations.
1. Acute eczema: it is an inflammatory skin disease caused by a variety of internal and external factors, mainly manifested as widely distributed, polymorphic, symmetrical erythematous papules and oozing tendency, rapid onset, accompanied by intense itching, easy to recur. In the early or acute stage, it is usually characterized by dense patches of erythema and papules, or small blisters, and in severe cases, there are large areas of oozing and erosion.
2. Subacute eczema: Subacute eczema is a transitional stage between acute eczema and chronic eczema. It is caused by a long delay after the inflammation of acute eczema is reduced, or the acute stage is not properly treated in time. The skin lesions are mainly small papules, scales and crusts, only a few papules or small blisters and vesicles, there may also be mild infiltration, self-conscious intense itching. It is easy to recur.
3. Chronic eczema: mostly due to acute, subacute eczema repeated episodes and the formation of the beginning of chronic inflammation. Patients are often allergic. Self-conscious intense itching, erythema, papules or blisters dense pieces, easy to ooze, unclear boundaries, often accompanied by vesicles, scabs, such as secondary infection, pustules or pus scabs. If the infection is secondary, pustules or pus crusts may appear. When the lesions are persistent, they may appear dry and cracked.
It is recommended that the child eczema can go to the hospital in time, by the professional doctor to judge, and then use medication under the guidance of the doctor.
