Rehabilitation training after fracture should be targeted according to the stage of fracture, such as active stretching exercises. 1. In the early stage, i.e. 1 to 2 weeks after the fracture, we should mainly promote the blood circulation of the affected limb, and we can do active contraction exercise under the guidance of doctor, which can eliminate the swelling and prevent muscle atrophy. 2. In the middle stage, that is, 2 weeks after the fracture, if the swelling subsides and the fracture site is stabilized, functional exercises can be carried out to gradually strengthen the intensity of activities, which can effectively prevent muscle atrophy and joint stiffness. 3. In the late stage, i.e. after removing the external fixation, the patient can continue to strengthen the exercise to promote the restoration of the range of motion of the joints and the gradual restoration of the muscle strength as before. It is recommended that patients carry out rehabilitation exercises under the guidance of physicians or rehabilitation therapists, so as to avoid secondary injuries caused by blind exercise on their own.
