Paraventricular and deep white matter high signal grade 2 to 3 is serious

Paraventricular and deep white matter high signal grade 2~3 is a kind of result of magnetic resonance examination, which is usually related to ischemic cerebrovascular disease and cerebral white matter demyelinating lesion, both of which are more serious, as follows.
1. Ischemic cerebrovascular disease: for example, cerebrovascular thrombosis caused by atherosclerosis, which is more serious and may lead to ischemic stroke if not treated in time.
2. Cerebral white matter demyelinating lesions: usually related to infection and other factors, the condition is more serious and recurrent, easily leading to limb numbness, sensory abnormalities, and accompanied by vision loss, incontinence and other symptoms.
If the deep paraventricular white matter is found to be high and the signal reaches grade 2~3, it is recommended to clarify the cause of the disease under the guidance of the doctor with the combination of clinical manifestations and other examinations, and to treat the disease in time.
