Hepatic cysts are often clinically categorized as simple hepatic cysts, polycystic liver disease and hepatic cysticercosis. Different causes, different drugs, available drugs are ursodeoxycholic acid, growth inhibitor analogs, antipelvic drugs and so on. 1. Simple hepatic cysts: no medication is needed. 2. Polycystic liver disease: no obvious symptoms do not advocate surgical treatment, can choose ursodeoxycholic acid, growth hormone analogues such as octreotide, vasopressin 2 receptor antagonist such as tolvaptan, and so on. 3. Hepatic cysticercosis: anti-cysticercosis drugs, such as phenylpropylthiimidazoles (e.g., albendazole and mebendazole) and praziquantel are needed. The treatment of cysts is still based on surgical treatment, such as ultrasound-guided cyst puncture and fluid extraction, abscess resection and so on. All of the above medications should be used under medical supervision.
