It can also be used to treat pulmonary tuberculosis caused by consumptive worms eroding the lungs, stagnation of qi and phlegm, with cough, hemoptysis, hot flashes, night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, but sweating stops after waking up), gradual emaciation, lumps in the lungs, red tongue with little moss and thin pulse (pulse becomes narrower, thinner and quicker in rate); and tuberculosis of the lungs, with the symptoms mentioned above.
