Do you need to do perfusion for hemodialysis in kidney disease

Not all nephropathy hemodialysis need perfusion, the indications of hemoperfusion include various kinds of drug toxins severe, hepatic encephalopathy, intractable itchy skin and long-term dialysis-related complications, sepsis, hyperlipidemia and so on.
Hemoperfusion mainly removes endogenous and exogenous poisons in the body through adsorption, and the commonly used adsorbent material is resin, which mainly removes medium and large molecule poisons. Hemodialysis mainly removes small molecule poisons from the body. It has good curative effect on persistent hypertension, itchy skin, prevalent bone disease and so on.
Whether hemodialysis patients need perfusion also depends on the patient’s own condition, and it is recommended that dialysis patients choose the appropriate treatment under medical advice.
