Causes of arrhythmia include physiologic factors such as anger, exercise, and changes in body position, but may also be related to coronary artery disease, hyperthyroidism, and the use of certain medications. Patients can be treated by taking medication, general treatment and symptomatic treatment.
1. Physiological factors: Arrhythmias caused by physiological factors such as anger, exercise, and changes in body position can be restored when these conditions improve. Generally, no special treatment is needed.
2. Coronary heart disease: Arrhythmias caused by coronary heart disease can be treated with beta-blockers such as metoprolol, bisoprolol, atenolol, etc., which can weaken myocardial contractility, slow down the heart rate, lower the blood pressure, and reduce the myocardial oxygen consumption, thus improving the arrhythmia.
3. Hyperthyroidism: Arrhythmias caused by hyperthyroidism can also be treated with beta-blockers such as propranolol.
4. Use of certain drugs: the use of digitalis, clotrimazole, norepinephrine and other drugs may cause arrhythmia, and most patients may experience some relief of arrhythmia after stopping the drugs.
It is recommended that patients closely monitor the development of the disease and actively cooperate with doctors for treatment.
