The difference between pharyngitis and pharyngolaryngitis is the different location of onset, different symptoms and different treatment modalities. 1. The larynx is located in the center of the front of the neck, below the hyoid bone, and the laryngopharynx is connected to the trachea. Pharyngolaryngitis has a wider scope, including inflammation of the pharynx and larynx. 2. Symptoms are different: pharyngitis only pharyngeal symptoms, such as pharyngeal pain, burning sensation, pharyngeal discomfort, conscious pharyngeal foreign body sensation when swallowing, and laryngitis in addition to the pharyngeal symptoms and obvious hoarseness. 3.
