The efficacy of Colla Corii Asini is to nourish Yin and blood, stop bleeding and moisten the lungs. The medicine can be used to treat all the symptoms of blood deficiency. It can be used alone or with Angelica sinensis, Paeonia lactiflora and Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata. As this product can stop bleeding, it can be used with Pu Huang and Radix et Rhizoma Sheng Di to treat bleeding caused by yin deficiency and blood heat; to treat hemoptysis, it can be used with Tian Dong and Bai He; Colla Corii Asini can also be used with Burdock and Almonds to nourish yin and moisten the lungs.
