Causes and management of tubal effusion

Tubal effusion is mainly caused by chronic salpingitis, but can also be caused by infection of other pelvic organs that spread directly to the fallopian tubes. Tubal effusion can be treated by laparoscopic surgery and in vitro fertilization. 1. Causes: Tubal effusion is usually caused by pathogen infection, the main pathogens include anaerobic bacteria, Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma, gonococcus, tuberculosis and so on. These pathogens can cause acute and chronic inflammation of the fallopian tube and its neighboring organs, and eventually form tubal effusion. 2. Treatment: If the patient is young, with good ovarian reserve function and basically normal male semen test, laparoscopic surgery can be attempted. If the patient is old, with poor ovarian reserve or combined with serious male factor infertility, or if the patient has not been pregnant after 1 year of trying to conceive after laparoscopic surgery, IVF will be considered, and the fluid will need to be dealt with by laparoscopic surgery before transplantation. Tubal effusion is a major cause of severe infertility, so it is very important to treat tubal effusion aggressively in patients with fertility requirements. When tubal effusion occurs, you need to actively go to the hospital for medical examination and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
