Chin acne is not necessarily caused by endocrine disorders, but can also be caused by excessive sebaceous gland secretion due to prolonged late nights and other reasons. Most acne patients do not have obvious endocrine disorders, but for female acne patients with hirsutism or irregular menstruation, endocrine disorders should be suspected to cause chin acne. This is due to the rise in androgen levels in the body causing sebum secretion to flourish, and the chin acne is thus produced. Prolonged late nights can cause the skin to secrete too much oil to keep the skin moisturized, which can easily block the oil in the pores, causing a lack of oxygen inside the hair follicles, which can breed and accumulate acne. Other causes (such as genetics) of excessive sebaceous gland secretion can also lead to chin pores being blocked and eventually forming acne. There are many other factors that contribute to chin acne, not just endocrine disorders. If you have persistent acne on your chin, go to the hospital and follow the doctor’s instructions for proper treatment.
