TP53 gene mutations in the lungs are currently not curable. TP53 is a tumor suppressor gene, which is responsible for regulating the proliferation of tumor cells under normal conditions. Lung cancer patients with TP53 gene mutation, i.e. loss of the function of inhibiting tumor cell proliferation, will lead to lung cancer cell expansion and tumor progression. However, there is no targeted drug treatment for TP53 oncogene mutation, so it is not possible to cure TP53 gene mutation for the time being. Lung cancer patients with TP53 gene mutation are recommended to take surgical treatment, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other methods of treatment, and can also be combined with immunotherapy. Specific treatment and medication should follow the doctor’s prescription.
