According to Zhong Zhong San Xi Lu (《医学衷中参西錄》), Cold Tong Tang is a traditional Chinese medicine formula composed of talcum, peony, Zhi Mu (知母), and Huang Bai (黄柏). This formula has the efficacy of clearing dampness and heat, and is mainly used for treating the symptoms of dribbling and burning pain in urination caused by dampness and heat in the lower Jiao, retention of urine, abdominal distension, dysuria, heat and thirst, and weightlessness and fatigue.
