What are the early ultrasound manifestations of liver cancer

Liver cancer pathology is divided into giant mass type, nodular type, diffuse type and small liver cancer, and the early ultrasound performance of each type is different, as follows. Ultrasound of hepatocellular carcinoma giant type can be seen as round, oval or irregular shape in the liver, with clear or blurred boundary and uneven echo inside. Nodular type of liver cancer can be seen as a mass with clearer boundary and strong echo, isoechoic or hypoechoic inside, but most of them are uneven. Diffuse liver cancer ultrasound shows that the echo of liver parenchyma is extremely heterogeneous, with coarse patchy strongly echogenic or small hypoechoic nodules diffusely distributed in the whole liver, usually with a diameter of about 1 cm. Small hepatocellular carcinoma ultrasound masses are all under 3 cm, can be seen single or multiple, usually weakly echogenic internally, with clear borders and hyperechoic halo around. Early symptoms of primary liver cancer are not obvious or even absent. Ultrasound, as the first choice of liver cancer screening, can show the location, size and morphology of the tumor and provide certain reference value for clinical diagnosis.
