How do you get something out of your ear?

Things in the ear can be removed in different ways depending on the nature, location, shape and other factors of the foreign body.
1. For those that have not crossed the isthmus of the external auditory canal and are not embedded in the external auditory canal can choose to be removed directly with a cerumen hook.
2. For active insects, ethanol or oil can be dripped into the ear to adhere the insect, kill it, anesthetize it, and then remove it with tweezers or rinse it out to get rid of it.
3. Hard round foreign bodies can be taken out with a right-angled hook, and larger foreign bodies that are embedded need to be removed by incising the inner ear.
If a foreign body enters into the ear, you should go to the hospital in time and have it examined by a specialized doctor for standardized treatment.
