(3) Blood pressure lowering treatment: most patients with cerebral infarction will have elevated blood pressure in the acute stage, and antihypertensive treatment is also needed, and commonly used drugs include labetalol, nicardipine, nifedipine, etc.
(4) Lipid-lowering treatment: For patients with combined hyperlipidemia, simvastatin, atorvastatin, lovastatin, etc. can be used as prescribed by the doctor to lower blood lipids and stabilize plaques.
(5) Hypoglycemic therapy: Hyperglycemia is more common in the acute stage of the disease, which may be a manifestation of the original diabetes or stress response. Insulin can be given as prescribed by the doctor for treatment. During treatment, hypoglycemia should be avoided, and when hypoglycemia occurs, glucose can be given to correct blood sugar.
2. Surgical treatment: If necessary, carotid endarterectomy, debridement and other surgical treatments can be taken after the doctor’s evaluation.
