There is no need to alternate between metronidazole furazolidone and compound metronidazole suppositories, both are for the treatment of bacterial vaginitis, using one is fine.

2. Compound metronidazole suppository: mainly used for trichomonas vaginitis, bacterial vaginitis, mycotic vaginitis, senile vaginitis, Mycoplasma infections, gonorrhea diphtheria infections, non-specific vaginitis. Adverse reactions are not known.
For vaginal inflammation, these two drugs can be cycled, with one course of metronidazole furazolidone and the next course of compound metronidazole suppositories.
