Mung Bean and Ginger Soup

Mung beans and ginger are not recommended to be taken in soup at the same time.
Mung bean is a food we often eat, mung bean is cool, sweet taste, with heat detoxification, summer water effect. Adding ginger will weaken the effect of mung beans in clearing heat and detoxifying the summer heat, so it is not recommended to take the two foods at the same time in soup.
Ginger has the functions of relieving cold (removing cold from the surface of the muscles), warming the stomach and stopping vomiting (treating vomiting caused by cold stomach by warming the spleen and stomach), warming the lungs and relieving cough, and detoxifying the toxin. If it is taken in the same soup with mung beans, which are cold, the warming effect of ginger will be weakened. The two foods are cold and hot, and are not suitable to be taken at the same time.
Mung beans and ginger, if taken in soup at the same time, sometimes also lead to stomach pain, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other side effects. It is recommended to choose the appropriate dietary therapy and medication according to your own constitution and condition.
