Damp-heat of the liver and gallbladder does not usually cause bumps on the scalp.
Liver and gallbladder damp-heat syndrome is a kind of syndrome in Chinese medicine, which is mostly caused by feeling damp-heat evil, or eating too much fatty food or sweets leading to the production of damp-heat, or the weakness of the spleen and stomach that cannot transport and transform dampness, and dampness depresses and transforms into heat.
Damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder is often manifested as distension and pain in the ribs, burning, lack of appetite, bloating, bitter taste in the mouth, nausea and wanting to vomit, irregular stools, which may be loose or dry, short and dark urine, red tongue with yellow greasy moss, and fast pulse like a string of qin and fast.
Some people may also show cold and hot, or yellowish skin and eyes, men may show scrotal eczema and itching, or testicular swelling and hot pain, women may show yellowish smelling leukorrhea and vulvar itching. But one of them does not cause the symptom of scalp bumps.
