There are many treatments for gastritis, usually need to be treated according to the cause of the disease. The main causes of gastritis are drug stimulation, Helicobacter pylori infection and so on, which can be treated according to the cause of the disease such as stopping medication, anti-infection, acid suppression and protection of the gastric mucosa.
1. Drug stimulation: long-term oral gastric mucosal irritation drugs, such as indomethacin, ibuprofen, diclofenac, aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can lead to gastritis. It is recommended to stop the application of the above drugs and give acid-suppressing drugs such as famotidine for treatment.
2. Helicobacter pylori infection: it is a common cause of gastritis, gastric ulcer, gastric cancer, etc. It needs to be treated with triple or quadruple therapy, i.e., two kinds of anti-infective drugs are combined with proton pump inhibitor and bismuth, such as amoxicillin, metronidazole, bismuth potassium citrate and omeprazole.
All the above medications should be applied under the supervision of a doctor. If gastritis exists, it is recommended to go to the hospital as early as possible and give regular treatment measures under the doctor’s guidance.
