Adult myopia is categorized into pseudomyopia and true myopia. Pseudomyopia can be restored through daily conditioning, while true myopia cannot be restored through conditioning, and vision can be corrected through surgery and wearing glasses. 1. Pseudomyopia: Pseudomyopia is mostly caused by excessive eye use, because of the continuous contraction and spasm of the ciliary muscle, the lens temporarily convex, resulting in blurred vision. In this case, it can be restored to normal by strengthening the eye training, relaxing the muscles, relieving fatigue, correcting the bad eye habits, and correcting the problem of partiality of food. 2. Genuine myopia: If it cannot be restored to normal by correcting bad eye habits and adjusting daily life, it needs to be corrected by wearing eyeglasses, corneal contact lenses, refractive surgery, and so on. It is recommended that people with true myopia should choose regular optometry institutions to prevent deterioration of scientific glasses and undergo regular eye examination to prevent different degrees of fundus lesions.
