There is no evidence that entecavir induces lung cancer. This product is used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B and should be used as directed by a physician. Entecavir is used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B in adults with persistent elevations of alanine aminotransferase, active viral replication, and active disease; it is also used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus infection in persons between the ages of 2 years and less than 18 years with compensated liver disease. Entecavir is seen as headache, vertigo, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, insomnia, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, anaphylactoid reactions, alopecia, rash, elevated aminotransferase, lactic acidosis and other adverse reactions, and there is no evidence from studies that the product can induce lung cancer. The drug is contraindicated in people who are allergic to entecavir. The drug should be used under the guidance of a doctor.
