Children’s toothache may be caused by acute gingivopapillitis, dental caries or endodontitis apical periodontitis, it is recommended to consult a doctor for periodontal scaling, caries filling or root canal treatment in a timely manner.
1. Acute gingival papillitis is caused by food impaction, resulting in infection and inflammation of the gingival papillae between the teeth, with symptoms such as swelling, pain and bleeding; periodontal flushing and medication are required to clean up the impaction of food and inflammatory factors to alleviate the symptoms.
2. Dental caries will cause the nerve to lose the protection of the hard tissue on the surface of the tooth, which will cause sensitivity and pain when it is stimulated by hot, cold, sour or sweet stimuli; caries filling treatment is required to repair the missing part of the tooth and prevent the nerve from being stimulated by the outside world.
3. Pulpitis or periapical inflammation is caused by inflammation and necrosis of the nerve, which will cause hot and cold pain, spontaneous pain or biting pain and other symptoms; root canal treatment is required to remove the nerve and inflammatory substances in order to effectively stop the pain.
When children experience toothache, it is recommended that they seek prompt medical attention and active treatment.
