What does hypoechoic myometrium mean

When a patient has an ultrasound, a suggestion of hypoechoic myometrium means that there may be a localized lesion, usually due to uterine fibroids.
When a woman has an ultrasound, if the results suggest a hypoechoic area in the myometrium, it generally means that there may be a substantial localized lesion, and the most common disease that causes such a lesion is uterine fibroids.
Uterine fibroids, also known as fibroids and fibroids, are common benign tumors of the female reproductive system. Most patients do not have obvious symptoms and often find uterine fibroids occasionally during a physical examination.
Some patients sometimes experience symptoms such as increased leukorrhea, vaginal bleeding, pain, and abdominal masses due to the relatively large size and number of fibroids or the proximity of the tumor to the submucosal layer.
