Why children sleepwalk

Sleepwalking in children may be caused by sleep disorders, anxiety and tension, obstructive sleep apnea, neurological disorders, heredity and other reasons.
1. Sleep disorders: Long-term insomnia, irregular sleep, night terrors caused by vitamin D deficiency and other diseases are all causes of sleepwalking.
2. Anxiety and nervousness: when infants change their living environment and their caregivers, they will pay attention to anxiety and nervousness, which will also increase the risk of sleepwalking.
3. Obstructive sleep apnea: when infants suffer from enlarged tonsils, enlarged adenoids, deviated nasal septum and other diseases that cause obstructive sleep apnea, it can make the probability of sleepwalking increase.
4. Neurological disorders: including craniocerebral injury, encephalitis, epilepsy and so on can lead to sleepwalking.
5. Heredity: If parents or close relatives suffer from this disorder, the probability of sleepwalking in infants will also increase.
There are other causes of sleepwalking in infants, and it is recommended that you seek medical attention to identify the cause and make timely and targeted treatment.
