Yusuf is the trade name and generic name of Ursodeoxycholic Acid Capsules, the main action is to reduce the saturation of cholesterol in bile, promote the secretory effect of hepatocytes and immunomodulation. Ursodeoxycholic acid capsule reduces the saturation of cholesterol in bile by inhibiting the reabsorption of cholesterol in the intestines and decreasing the secretion of cholesterol into the bile. It may be due to the dispersion of cholesterol and the formation of liquid crystals, and the gradual dissolution of cholesterol stones. It is used clinically for the treatment of steroidal gallbladder stones (must be X-ray penetrable), cholestatic liver disease (e.g., primary biliary cirrhosis), and bile reflux gastritis. Adverse reactions to the drug are mainly gastrointestinal dysfunction (such as diarrhea, loose stools), abnormal liver function, allergic reactions, and attention should be paid to the standardization of use in strict compliance with medical advice. It is contraindicated in patients with acute cholecystitis, obstruction of the bile ducts (common bile duct and cystic duct), frequent attacks of biliary colic, calcified gallstones that are impermeable to radiography, impaired function of the gallbladder, gallbladder that is not visible under X-rays, and in patients who are allergic to bile acids or any of the components of the product.
