A negative early pregnancy test on the twelfth day of ovulation is not necessarily hopeless. This is somewhat related to the quality of the test reagent as well as the timing of the test. By this time the fertilized egg has reached the uterine cavity, where it will be deposited and the embryo will secrete chorionic gonadotropin, but the level of such a hormone is very low in the urine. If the urine pregnancy test used is not very sensitive, or if the urine is tested after drinking water several times, this situation may result in a false negative. It may be more accurate if the test is done with the first pee in the morning. You can test again after two or three days if you find this situation. If possible, go to the hospital for a blood test to check the level of human chorionic gonadotropin in the blood. If it is significantly higher than normal, it is generally considered to be an early pregnancy.
