Can subacute necrotizing lymphadenitis be treated with Chinese medicine after discharge from the hospital?

Patients with subacute necrotizing lymphadenitis can be discharged from the hospital with Chinese herbal medicine.
Subacute necrotizing lymphadenitis is a kind of inflammatory immune response disease. The main clinical manifestations are redness, swelling and pain in the lymph nodes of the neck, accompanied by fever, chills and headache. This disease belongs to the category of “phlegm toxicity” in traditional Chinese medicine, which is mostly caused by the patient’s deficiency of positive qi, leading to the invasion of external wind, warmth and heat, which results in heat, stagnation of qi and blood, obstruction of meridians, and phlegm, stasis and toxin intertwining in the neck.
If the patient’s positive qi is insufficient after being discharged from the hospital, traditional Chinese medicine can be taken orally to tonify qi and blood, and toxins are used to generate muscle (to expel toxins and promote muscle growth and wound healing). The patient can be treated with Bazhen Tang and Zhenzhong Yiqi Tang with additions and subtractions. Patients can also follow the doctor’s instructions to choose the addition and subtraction of Yi Chen Tang to dredge the liver and regulate qi, dissolve phlegm and dissipate knots; or Zhi Bai Di Huang Tang to nourish yin and reduce fire.
The adverse effects of the above formulas are not clear. After discharge from the hospital, it is recommended that the patient should consult a professional Chinese medicine doctor for diagnosis and adjustment if necessary. It is also recommended that the patient should strengthen physical exercise, take a light diet and avoid spicy and stimulating food.
